Texas is an interesting state. We pledge allegiance to both our flag and the United States flag. My mom says that when Texan expats get asked where they're from, they say "Texas,"not "The U.S."
I am a proud Texan through and through.
I wasn't suprised when I heard about the speculations of Texas eventually seceding. Not saying that I would or not support that, but I wasn't surprised. I laughed really hard when I read in this article who wanted to be president of Texas if that ever happened.
Texas, I miss you.

michael will enjoy that article. he doesn't have the same allegiance to Texas...do they do a state pledge in other states???
